Minimum Fee Scale for Valuation Assignments in Thailand
 
        A minimum fee scale for valuation assignments in Thailand (for valuation reports in Thai) was announced earlier. The fee scale will be used on a trial basis for one year, effective April 1, 2004. Mr. Wason Khongchantr, a director at the Thai Appraisal Foundation and a member of the ad hoc committee that drafted the fee scale, has created the following unofficial translation for your information:

Notes:           1. This minimum fee is exclusive of the Value Added Tax of 7%
                     2. Applicable to a valuation report in Thai of no more than two (2) copies
                     3. Applicable to properties with correct / exact location identification
                     4. Applicable to properties fully furnished with all necessary information for valuation
                     5. For a second valuation of the same property or for an appraisal review not more than three (3) years old,the fee will be discounted to 60%; otherwise, the full minimum fee will be applicable
                     6. Area converter, 1 rai = 1,600 sq.metres, 0.395369 acre | 1 sq.wah = 4 sq.metre
